How to Remove Bad Smells and Unstick Photos

Your freezer does much more than just keep your food frozen. Just wait till you hear!

Our favorite? Store your unpopped popcorn in the freezer to reduce the amount of kernels left at the bottom of the bowl when popped.

And do you enjoy candles? Extend candle life by keeping them in the freezer before burning. And once you have used them, you may have melted wax on your candleholders. Toss those in the freezer overnight for easy was cleanup the next day.

Are your photographs stuck together? Put them in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Then take them out and very gently, try to separate the pictures with a butter knife. If they still seem stuck, put them back in the freezer for a bit more time.

Finally, do you have anything small that is, well, stinky? Musty books, fishy gloves, smelly milk cups? If your object is washable, do that first. Then put anything with a bad odor in the freezer overnight. Your object should smell much fresher in the morning.
